Large Format 3D Printer at Rapid + TCT

We took a look at Bigrep's large format 3d printer at Rapid Event 2018 aka Rapid + TCT. Bigrep's large format 3d printer has a 1m x 1m x 1m build area and prints all the basic fdm materials and filament.

Rapid + TCT 2018 took place in Fort Worth, Texas at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The latest and greatest additive manufacturing technologies were displayed throughout the event. The conference presents the most advanced manufacturing tech and leaders in the industry. The event is held by SME and The TCT Group. SME promotes advanced manufacturing technology and develops a skilled workforce. TCT provides a magazine for design to manufacturing innovation.

With the BigRep Studio, we introduce a new dimension of large-scale 3D printing. The print volume of 500mm x 1000mm x 500mm provides space for large objects, while also enabling high precision and faster printing. The size of the BigRep Studio is optimal for setting up the printer in almost every location.
