The 2016 James Madison lecture was given to James Madison Fellows by Professor Edward G. Lengel, professor of history at the University of Virginia. Professor Lengel speaks about his new book, First Entrepreneur: How George Washington Built His--and the Nation's--Prosperity. Professor Lengel is the editor-in-chief of The Papers of George Washington documentary editing project. This talk was given on the campus of Georgetown University on July 8, 2016.
