American Airlines A319 Flight BOS-STL [PSA RETRO JET]

Welcome aboard American Airlines flight 2476 from Boston to St. Louis. Todays flight would be my first time back on American since July of 2012, back when American still used the terminal B-north gates at Logan, when their 737's still had eyebrows, tube TVs, AMERICAN WAY, and Skymall. All before they merged with US Airways. I was pretty much trying out a new airline for the first time... all these years and I've managed to avoid stepping onto an American Airlines jet. N742PS started out with US Airways before American slapped their new logo on in 2014. I'm glad they kept the stunning livery on this plane and it really compliments the rest of the retro jets in American's fleet nicely. I wish I could say the same for the interior of this LUSBUS though. It was filthy. While the seats and floor area were clean and vacuumed from the plane spending the night in Boston , the walls, overhead bins, lavatory, and PSU's were coated in this layer of thick dust. It probably had been quite awhile since it was in the shop and was a pretty good indicator of how hard these A319's are used. The plane is also one of the more senior aircraft in American's fleet at this point as well. The flight attendants were friendly throughout the flight and I could hear them apologizing to people near me who complained about the cabins cleanliness, offering them sanitizing wipes. Despite having a little delay in Boston due to the airlines website giving everyone wrong gate information, we touched down in St. Louis on time!
