Val Poschiavo ¦ GRAUBÜNDEN ¦ SWITZERLAND

July 16-17th, 2023

2 days spent in Poschiavo's Valley, in the Bernina's Region (Graubünden - Switzerland).
We first took a walk around Lake Poschiavo then, after a quick lunch, we drove to Piazz, up in the mountains. From the parking lot, you need to walk around 20-30 minutes to reach San Romerio's alp. The hut owners will warmly welcome you. Just above the hut, a very cosy wood little house can be your room for the night. The bed can slide and be pushed out of it, making you sleep right beneath the stars. Make sure to book in advance or there is no way you can find it ready for you. The following day we visited Bernina's pass and the White Lake, which lies right under the Vadret dal Cambrena's glacier. Before heading back home we stopped for lunch in Poschiavo, to taste of the specialties offered by the Region.
