Surf Fishing spots in Oregon

"Where is the best spot to go surf fishing?" is, by a long shot, the number one question people ask me. And the answer is obvious: any beach along the Oregon coast has surf perch. It's not a secret that redtails are saltwater fish. They are in the roaming around in the surf foraging on sand crabs and other food. Pick a beach that's closest to where you live, and cast your line. If they are not there, MOVE around, and keep moving around until you find them. If you still have no success, then move to another beach; or come at a later time during a different tide.

In this short video, I'm going to show you some spots that I go for surf fishing. These spots are obvious, and are public. These beaches aren't the best location, but rather they are some places that I fish. Surf perch are quite mobile, and you just have to keep moving to find them.
