This particular stateroom is a J4 category Junior Suite with a capacity for two guests. There are Junior Suites onboard capable of accommodating 5 passengers.

Entering the room, the first thing that I noticed is the space. Twin beds can be made up as a Royal King as seen here. One wardrobe next to the bed contains drawers, a safe and hanging space for shorter garments. For a ship built recently, it’s disappointing there is only one US style outlet on one side of the bed.

On the opposite wall you’ll find the main wardrobe. There’s ample hanging space, including an additional hanging rack that can be folded out. Plus there’s a thoughtful place to store shoes below.

There’s additional storage in the form of 6 deep set drawers, one containing a hairdryer. It’s where you’ll also find a bar fridge.

A Lavazza coffee machine is a perk of the suite, and it includes coffee pods which are resupplied as needed. An electric kettle is available on request. The dresser or vanity contains two usb A outlets, two US outlets and one European outlet. There are no Australian outlets onboard. I recommend a European adaptor for higher consumption appliances like hairdryers.

There’s a phone but no power outlets on the other side of the bed.

The small sectional lounge was incredibly firm, but a nice additional space to relax.

All balcony sliding doors have a child lock located fairly high on the door frame.

The balcony is deep, with upgraded padded loungers with separate ottomans making it an excellent place for relaxing during a day at sea.

The bathroom layout is one of the best perks of this room type.

The wet room includes a full bath, a vanity with basin and a large, freestanding shower.

There’s a choice between a luxurious rainfall shower head or a standard shower head.

Upgraded bathroom amenities include Royal Caribbean trademarked Salt + Breeze shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The opaque window provides some natural light but still offers privacy.

The vanity basin area is well-lit from the sides and overhead, although bench space is minimal. There’s a large drawer at the bottom for additional storage space.

The full size bath contains the same Salt + Breeze branded amenities.

Across the entrance way, a second door opens to a separate toilet or powder room. The compact space offers a second vanity with basin, plus another drawer. Separating the bathroom into 2 spaces is a unique bonus that definitely helps make the space more user friendly.

As the entry level suite onboard, the Junior Suite is part of Royal Caribbean’s Sea Class. It includes several suite perks which have been listed in my description below; one of those is complimentary dinner in the intimate suites only restaurant called Coastal Kitchen. It has a bespoke menu crafted specifically for the restaurant that you won’t find elsewhere onboard.
