How To Test HEF4049 Hex Inverter IC, hef4049 or cd4049 contains hex inverting buffers. it makes logic level conversion using only one supply voltage (VDD). The input signal high level (VIH) can exceed the VDD supply voltage when these devices are used for logic level conversions. HEF4049 is made by nexperia, while cd4049 is manufactured by national semiconductor, texas instruments, fairchild semiconductor, intersel, harris, rochester electronics and many other manufactures.
