Abanotubani - Old Tbilisi
Can you believe this canyon with a beautiful but small waterfall
is actually in the middle of the Old Town?
This is a really cool place! and a great place for an evening walk
Go there around 7pm.
There are no crowds!
The waterfall is located in the heart of the Old Town, Tbilisi by walking through the sulphur baths area, near to the sulphur bath right in the heart of the city.
The walkway to the waterfall is very nice, clean and well maintained.
Alongside you will find few local artists too, playing musical instruments

I did not expect to see a waterfall in the middle of the city. It was nice to spend some time there.
I was impressed by this canyon with the waterfall in the middle of the city center!
This is a really cool place!
The most impressive thing for me is those houses that are built on rocks!
Old Tbilisi Sulfur Baths, Georgia
These sulphur baths in Old Tbilisi contain lovely hot sulfur-rich water to soak in
And…if you’re brave go for the 15 minutes body scrub!
But beware, take off your rings before getting in: silver reacts with the sulphur!!!
Narikala Fortress - Tbilisi
Narikala is a fortress carved out of “living rock”
Forget warning signs, boardwalks, handrails or even lifts though this is tourism in the raw.
The pay off is amazing views, no crowds and a real sense of achievement.
Tbilisi Botanical Gardens
These large lovely botanical gardens are right in the heart of the old town
And make a wonderful place to reconnect with nature.
There’s a bamboo grove, a river flowing through the entire park.
Even a little Japanese garden and lots of adorable bridges
You have to make sure though to spend 3 to 4 hours discovering this
But whatever you do don’t forget to take at least one slice of homemade cheesecake
to this beautiful jungle!
Sit close to the flowering plants and listen to the hummingbirds going around the flowers and enjoy your cake
Kartlis Deda - Mother of Georgia Tbilisi
Make your way to the very top.
It truly is magical seeing the Old Town
from this iconic aluminium statue
The Mother of Georgia has a bowl of wine
in her left hand and a big sword in her right hand
The wine is to offer friends and the sword is to fight enemies.
