John Deere E100 2 YEARS LATER...

I get asked a lot in my other “Lawn Deere” videos how well this lawn mower/lawn tractor has held up since I bought it new in 2020. Here's a little video that kinda sorta touches on that... I got side tracked, had zero plan for what to talk about and may have mixed up a shot or two…good enough? Sure. I've absolutely abused it from time to time, but it has held up just fine. The blades need to be sharpened, I'm suspecting some decent gouges from hitting the odd rock but maybe we'll see that in a future video. I’ve washed it once, maybe twice? Always park it indoors, so far haven’t had issues with rats chewing on it. If you’re mowing sideways on a steeper hill and are doing the mandatory “safety lean” (the seat has a safety feature that will kill the motor if you get off without setting the e brake first or if the PTO is engaged) that can be a little tricky to manage sometimes. It bogs down a little in wet grass or very tall grass but it’s never stalled out or stopped me, it’s not a big deal and if you’re mowing grass 10” or higher you just need to go slower and come back a 2nd pass. I respect my equipment/tools but it’s just that: a tool. I’ve hauled concrete with it, brush hogged smaller saplings/blackberry bushes and it does decently.
