This footage is from late May; got up early since I was already awake early and headed to the land of one pounders again. This time I brought along my new twig, an Ebisu stick from Scheels Outfitters that is supposedly made through 13 Fishing for Scheels. This one is a 6'6" spinning (Medium) that I plan to use for wacky/Ned situations from the yak. So far it seems to be ideal for that purpose and would recommend it for anybody seeking a rod for similar conditions. Overall, a pretty standard trip for this spot. We found numbers but not much size. Started with the buzzbait and got bites before going to the 4" Zoom lizard (Junebug) on a downsized Texas Rig. Then over to the Wacky for a majority of the trip. Had one on a jerkbait but they were preferring to hide up along the shoreline in cover as the Greenies tend to do. Got me a "handful" of injuries along the way, because why not?
