Yamaha FZR 1000 Exup Full engine restoration Part 6

Slowly (but surely) it comes together. Before I put anything together, I had to clean... a lot! Every surface needs to be absolutely free of dirt or debris in order to achieve perfect sealing of all the parts later on.
Another thing was the carbon built up on the pistons. These I took care with glass bead blasting in my small sandblasting cabinet.
Also, I had to do the cylinder honing. As usual, I use my own, limited, knowledge and experience. And so far it worked out very well!
