2024 PGA Girls National High School Invitational - 1st Place Playoff

Leigh Chien (California - SMC) and Olivia Hung (Tiawan - IND) both played a fantastic 3 days, BOTH finishing -17 under Par tying for 1st Place.

Had a play-off for 1st place going out to Hole #18 (Par-5) for both to Birdie the Hole. Went back and teed off on Hole #18 once again and again both Birdied to then once again go back to Hole #18 to once again BOTH Birdie the Hole. Everyone gathered together to head out to Hole #16 and continue the play-off Hole to Hole coming in. On Hole #16 (Par-3), Leigh ended up taking 1st Place after the Four Hole Play-off.

Note: We are standing next to the Ranch Santa Margarita (California) Team, hence the louder applause for Chien's shots. Crowd was great in cheering both players on and they both played great.

We did get to know the Ranch Santa Margarita (California) Team a bit as their practice round tee-time at Westridge was just behind mine on Saturday, so we talked quite a bit as we waited for our times. The Ranch Santa Margarita (California)Team won 1st place as well as Leigh Chin securing 1st Place Individual in the play-off.
