How to perform a manual Firmware Update on Pax S300

Steps:

Before starting the update process, make sure you have added all of your tips and batched out your credit cards.

Turn off the unit by unplugging the device from the power source.

Turn the unit back on, and immediately press and hold down the blue "F" key.

Keep holding the "F" key until the next screen appears, then release it.

Press the red "X" button once to enter the menu screen.

Select option "4" for Remote Download.

Choose option "1" for New Download.

Select option "1" again for TCP.

Enter the IP address (216.238.144.195) as follows:

Type "216", then press the "1" key followed by the "Alpha" key a few times to enter the period.
Type "238", then press the "1" key followed by the "Alpha" key a few times to enter the period.
Type "144", then press the "1" key followed by the "Alpha" key a few times to enter the period.
Type "195", then press the green "Enter" key to confirm the IP address.
Enter the Remote Port number (8582) and press the green "Enter" key.

Select "Yes" to enable DHCP.

Input the Terminal ID (30030030) and press the green "Enter" key to begin the download and manual firmware update process.

Once the update is complete, your firmware will be successfully updated manually.
