Rex arrives to tell Clint, and the rest of the family, that the transplant is off - thanks to Gigi's forward thinking of securing a (forged) health proxy. Clint first tries to play the father/son sympathy card. Rejected. Natalie tries to play the sister card. Rejected. Vikki asks to think of what Gigi wanted, to share her life to save anthother. Rex wanes. Bo doesn't make any plea on behalf of Clint, and simply states that whatever Rex's choice it will be the right one. Rex goes to the police station to watch Jack Manning go to prison, only to see him walk.
