In this video, I break down the foundational stage of realistic portrait drawing — the outline and proportional structure — using only a pencil, construction lines, and the classic Loomis head framework.

This method is harder than tracing or gridding… but infinitely more rewarding.

🎨 MATERIALS USED:
• Graphite pencil (HB–2B)
• Smooth drawing paper
• Basic eraser + precision eraser
• Light blending tools for soft transitions (as needed)
