DIY Phone Case with HOLO Liquid Lip Gloss!! Sigma Lip Switch DIY

These amazing lip glosses are from Sigma but sadly sold out at the moment. They will be restocked so be sure to keep an eye out for that! I really wanted to find a way to "capture" the amazing rainbow effect in a DIY so you can enjoy it forever. I originally thought of making a lip shaped keyring out of clay or mixing the gloss with resin/glaze (btw sadly that doesn't work, it it kills the holographic effect).

Then I decided a DIY phone case is probably easier and I was really pleased with the method of using your own lips to create the template. When making DIYs, I always try to find the easiest/simplest/cheapest way of doing something and this DIY managed to tick all those boxes. I think this is one of my favourite DIY projects from all the videos I've done :D. Nail polish actually works better than acrylic paint since it has a glossy, slightly 3D surface.

The nail polish I used was Essence No-Lamp Gel Polish and it worked very well. Black polish will also look amazing with the holo gloss, you can make a DIY oil spill phone case.

I haven't done a DIY phone case video for some time and hoped you enjoyed this! This was a very spontaneous video...I received my Lip Switch glosses on Friday morning and just happened to have that evening free so I came up with the idea and filmed this DIY on the same day ^_^.
