EPB's creations have often been criticized as being frustratingly lightweight. However there are some highlights.
"Punk Rock Classic" single was released in 1999 and the opening track was included in " Homesick" album later that year. The Bristolian band's second album contains a wide variety of musical styles, all wrapped in a melodic, groove-driven pop that is hard to label and seems το lean occasionally towards the realms of brit-pop.
Davey Woodward pays blank-voiced tribute to an eccentric object of desire ("I love a girl who smokes a pipe") while the rhythm is reminiscent of Trio's "Da Da Da" on guitars and kazoos.
