This is a very special glaze review for me. In this episode we will be reviewing the glaze I developed and sold, Red Lotus. The red lotus glaze is now sold by the clayscapes recipe and I couldn't be happier with how much sold in such a small time. Because I am the developer we go through a bit more testing than we usually do in a glaze review. Keep in mind this type of glaze is notoriously difficult to develop in the glaze designers space and the crystal versions are even harder. It requires proper application and a bit of a relationship with the glaze before it will consistently put out the nice crystals most people are looking for.
Remember to mix it well, all the way to the bottom of the bucket. eight the specific gravity, and fire it to either cone 5 or 6 for best results. At best you'll get crystals, at worst you'll get a red glaze (which is already difficult to get at cone 6 oxidation)

Recomended specs:
Specific gravity 1.25 - 1.3
It will run, it is technically a crystal glaze. Treat it as such by giving it room to run.
2.5 - 3 second (dipping)
3-4 layers if brushing (layer down)
