Villa Maria is located in a nice residential area near Skrea beach in Falkenberg. The building resembles a large cube, twisted into the ground. This means that all angles between ceilings and walls are 90 degrees. The brick follows the slope of the house, which gives a cool architectural effect.

To achieve maximum light entry despite some transparency, a void in the middle of the building had to form an atrium. The atrium gives a large dimension to the house with exciting lines of sight.

The choice of material interior is a mix of polished concrete floors and wood, ribbed ceilings in white glazed oak and painted walls in carefully selected colors. Everything from sound, curtains, lights, ventilation, locks, etc. can be controlled via mobile, which provides a nice and high-tech comfort.
