The bill outlines that temples generating more than Rs 1 crore in revenue will be subjected to a 10% tax, while those with revenues ranging between ₹10 lakh and ₹1 crore will face a 5% tax. This development has sparked significant debate and controversy surrounding religious and financial matters in Karnataka.
