Welcome to Fun Finds Friday! A series of videos that I occasionally post on Friday to share the vintage/used treasures I find when I'm out and about. I love shopping for antique, vintage, rusty and grungy things to use in my mixed media art.

This week is all one haul from a trip to Austin Creative Reuse

DISCLAIMER These videos are in no way to brag or boast about what I find, but to cheer you on you to get out and find cool things! In this time of easy knock-off reproductions (*not* including real artists who make printables or items for sale), I feel it’s important to show alternatives.

I'm sharing these for several other reasons . . .

First, I personally like seeing what other artists find - it always gives me things, book titles, ideas etc to add to my list of what to watch out for.

Second, to practice and work on these types of videos - demonstrating or showing while talking. (Be patient as I improve!)

Third, to share what may be coming to my etsy shop. I love to share things for other artists who may not have access to things for many reasons.

And lastly, just for fun! It’s one way to add videos and create more community here on my channel. I am excited to hear your thoughts and ideas on how you’d use the items or what you find, too
