2024년 8월 29일(목) 테니스 일기 : 가을이 오고 있다

선선한 바람이 불고 있다. 땀에 옷이 흠뻑 젖었는데, 이제는 시원한 바람에 잘 마른다. 서브의 토스를 높이 올리기. 무릎을 구부리기. 공을 끝까지 바라보기. 반복되는 주문을 머리와 몸으로 계속 되새기고 있다.

공을 끝까지 보다가 라켓에 맞을 때 아주 크고 경쾌한 소리가 나서 잠시 희열을 느낀 순간이 있었다. 테니스가 이런 맛이다.

A cool breeze is blowing. My clothes are soaked in sweat, but now they dry well in the cool breeze. Raise the toss of the serve high. Bend your knees. Look at the ball till the end. Keep reminding on repeated spells with my head and body.

There was a moment when I felt joy for a moment because I heard a loud and cheerful sound when I was hit by a racket while watching the ball until the end. This is what tennis tastes like.
