I bought this kit at the Dec, 2012 meeting/swap meet of the San Francisco Model Yacht Club located on Spreckles Lake in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The video is a bit long but shows much of what is entailed in building one of these kits. Dumas provides a pretty decent kit, but a lot of fabrication needs to be done in order to get it completed. The original was all green, but I took creative liberty and left all of the brass pieces unpainted as well as adding flat-black for highlights since the original JFK boat was destroyed during WWII.
