Local Shows Us Baghdad, Iraq 🇮🇶

Today we explored Baghdad, Iraq with our good Iraqi friend Abbas.

We kicked off the day with a classic Iraqi breakfast of kahi geymar and I've gotta say this was one of my favourite breakfasts I've eaten in ages.

We then literally walked straight across the road into a proper old school Baghdad tea shop where we chilled out for a while and ate some of Abbas's mums kleicha (Iraqi snack).

After wandering around central Baghdad by the tigris river for a bit we came across a lady selling dolma on the street, this was an offer I couldn't refuse so we got some and they were beautiful.

To end the night Abbas invited us into his home where we tried Iraqi arak for the first time and ate good food together!
