Nine kidnappings in a row in Los Angeles. The victims come from all walks of life - priests, prosecutors, actors, and club owners - and seemingly have no connection to each other, but the kidnappings are all committed by one man, a man wearing a blue mask and dressed all in black. The police are out in full force, but they can't find any clues. Meanwhile, in a dark, damp basement in a different part of the city, the nine abductees are having the most agonizing time of their lives. The masked men ask them to think about the reason why they were kidnapped, and then kill one of them every 10 minutes until they find the reason.
