Lasse Schöne - When football becomes art -

At the age of 16, Lasse Schöne started his career in the Netherlands at sc Heerenveen. In 2006 he made the switch to the Graafschap. in 2007 he continued his career at N.E.C. Nijmegen. About 2 years later, he was also selected for the Danish national team. In the 2011/2012 season, he became N.E.C.'s top scorer with 11 goals. His contract expired in mid-2012. There were many interested clubs such as Ajax, Feyenoord and Schalke 04. His preference was for the Amsterdam club AFC Ajax. at Ajax he reached his best periods as a footballer. He was often of great value to the Amsterdam club and after the incredibly successful 2018/2019 season he made a transfer to Genoa and continued his career in Serie A. In the first season, Schöne was fairly successful for Genoa. In his 2nd season, his game was disappointing and Schöne was terminated from his contract. In February he signed again for sc Heerenveen. In Heerenveen he played 14 games and scored 1 goal. In July 2021 he left for his old love N.E.C. Nijmegen where he plays to this day. Schöne is still seen in Amsterdam as a club icon.
