A common condition seen in general neurology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is peripheral neuropathy, which is when nerves in the feet don’t work as well as they should.

Jordan Bulcher, a physician assistant in general neurology, explains that it may be caused by diabetes or other conditions. Symptoms include cold feet, numbness, tingling or “pins and needles,” balance issues or lightheadedness.
