The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
Today’s looking uncomfortable over the Northern Cape with very hot conditions. At the same time, the Eastern Cape is under a Level 4 warning for dangerous storms, with damaging winds, heavy lightning, hail, and flooding rains that could damage infrastructure and homes. There’s a Level 2 covering Gauteng Province, southern Limpopo, Mpumalanga’s escarpment and Highveld, southern North West, eastern Free State, and northeastern Eastern Cape Province where storms will cause localized flooding with damaging winds and small hail, plus fire danger is extremely high across parts of the Northern Cape Province, southwestern Free State Province, and Beaufort West in the Western Cape Province so stay away from any outdoor fires today.

Also in this video, is traffic at Beaufort West from Cape Town side. A queue more than 10 km going into town. We end the video with a drive through Pretoria in the Gauteng Province of South Africa.
