In this video, I demonstrate how to replace the tension struts on a BMW X5 E70. This is also known as lower control arm or thrust arm. This part has a bushing and a ball joint that can become worn and cause a squeak in the front suspension.

BMW part number: 31126773949 and 31126773950 (verify fitment for your car)

Tools required for this job include:
27mm - closed-end wrench for star nut
18mm open-end wrench
18mm socket
#40 Torx bit
