Auditions for the Junior & Senior Crew will take place on Sunday 9th March 2025🔥🕺💃

If you think you have what it takes, please read the following information:

Who can audition?
Senior Crew for students in school Year 11 and upwards and Junior Crew for students in school Years 4 to 10 inclusive. All current crew members re-audition every year to continue as part of the Crew. There is no need to register or book a place – just turn up (on time!) on the day.

Where is the audition held?
Bucks New Uni, High Wycombe Campus, Queen Alexandra Road, High Wycombe HP11 2JZ. Head for the tall blue building - there will be an Urban Strides representative and/or reception staff there to direct you. On arrival, enter the campus via the Main Entrance. The reception is located on your left. If you require parking, please pull into the lay-by on your left outside reception, enter reception and ask for a parking permit (the cost is £2). You can then park your car anywhere in the areas located after the lay-by. In the event that there are no spaces, alternative parking within walking distance is available at Eden Shopping Centre.

What time are the auditions?
Junior Crew Auditions : Arrive at 10.00am and be prepared to stay until 1.00pm. Senior Crew Auditions : Arrive at 1.30pm and be prepared to stay until 5.00pm. Please arrive promptly for the start of your session (so, either 10.00am for Juniors, or 1.30pm for Seniors).

Audition Fee
The audition fee will be £8.00 and will be payable on the day. Card payments only!

Format
There is no need for auditionees to prepare anything. You will be seen in groups and the audition process is on a round by round basis. This means there is no way of knowing how long you will be needed for - it all depends on how many people turn up to audition and how many rounds you get through! Please bring snacks and drinks with you – there are no cafe facilities open at the Uni on Sundays.

Please note : There will be some waiting around while other groups audition. There will be no supervision of younger students so parents should arrange to stay if your child is too young to be left alone. Only auditionees are allowed in the dance studio – no spectators.

What you should know if you are a successful auditionee
The Junior Crew train every Saturday (including half terms) 11-1pm and the Senior Crew 3-6pm. It is hard work, great fun and you must be committed to attending every week. All training takes place at the Bucks New Uni. Discounts are given to Crew members for weekly classes.
