Pakistani Can't Go There... Its my travel into a Restricted Region and This is the story of Frano, the last village of Pakistan on the Pak-India border and visiting the historic Appo Ali Shah Wooden Bridge on LOC. This bridge over the Shyok river connects the Chorbat Valley (Shyok Valley) with Ladakh, India.

I am a Solo Rider and also Solo Traveler. That's why I left the Khaplu city early in the morning on a motorcycle. I rode the motorbike on the Ladakh road towards the border along the banks of the Shyok river. This Shyok valley road is a hilly pass, on one side are high dangerous mountains and on the other side is River.

On the way came the villages of Youching (Youchung), Surmo, Dawoo, Marcha, Hassanabad, Chorbat, Partook, Piun and Siksa. I got clearance passes from all the check posts. Finally I reached at the border. The forces on both sides were locked in front of each-other. Anyway, I reached the Apo Ali Shah Bridge over the Shyok River at the border. I observed the place in detail and photographed it.

After that I went to the other side of the bridge and saw Thang village of Turtuk on the Indian side and saw the photo frame that the Indians have made there for tourists.

Then went to the Farano village on Pakistani side and saw there the wooden house of Apo Ali Shah, the bridge builder, and met his grandson Ali Shah. Made some drone shorts and photos of Frano village. The Frano people were very helpful. Specially school teacher Nisar Ali and polo player Sher Muhammad were very hospitable.

In evening, I came back from Frano and that evening was very beautiful. Finally reached Masherbrum view point near Khaplu at night and took night photography of Masherbrum (K1) mountain, Which is 55 km away from that point. The picture turned out to be so beautiful that it took away all the fatigue of my journey.

Masherbrum formerly known as K1. With an elevation of 7821m. 22nd highest mountain globally and 9th highest in Pakistan.
