Ali would be coming into this fight with 18 fights on his record, all of them wins and 14 by way of knockout. Ali would still be in his junior stages of his career holding no titles, just fast hands and the will to win.
But standing in his way was the No. 6 Ranked Heavyweight fighter in the world, British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion, Londons own Henry Cooper. Cooper would be coming into this fight 7 years Ali senior. With over twice as many fights Ali had in his short career, it was safe to say Cooper was a dangerous fight for the top bill Olympic gold medallist.
