Note: This is in lieu of a Study Guide. First, there are so many errata, I wouldn't know where to begin to teach what was "correct" in my corrections because of multiple editions that are very contradictory. Here, I am using my own version with errata that cannot truly be verified, from Griffes' hand unless someone can get to Mr. Bernie Goldberg,or multiple sources, that can show that we need to amend all the editions and I need to film a study guide. Unless that happens, we are left with Poco Piu Mosso becoming and Allegro Vivace... I heard the great Doriot Dwyer perform this with the BSO when I was very young student in HS at her Tanglewood Institute. Her Poco Piu Mosso was S L O W and at that moment I had an AH HA! moment. We have 1.5 pages of an accelerando - and if we start doing a jig too soon, we are left with no room to grow. In my humble opinion. AP
