Arguments for your server:

For 2GB:

java -Xms2G -Xmx2G -jar paper.jar

For 3GB:

java -Xms3G -Xmx3G -jar paper.jar

For 4GB:

java -Xms4G -Xmx4G -jar paper.jar

Be sure to change the amount of RAM necessary if needed

SOME THINGS I FORGOT TO MENTION:

1) When you first join you will not be the operator / admin of your server. To change this, in your minecraft server terminal type in: "op [your-minecraft-name]" - Without the quotes, and press ENTER

2) This is for Java only, bedrock has a different set-up.

3) run.bat is just an executable file. If you're only using your server for a few individuals, do not worry about setting it up. You can just double click on your paper.jar file and enjoy the server that way instead :)

4) If you are unsure how to set up port-forwarding, please please please contact your ISP. I cannot stress this enough that they are EXTREMELY helpful and can get you set up with just a few clicks.

5) If you don't want to use your IP address, consider looking up "Free DNS" on Google. A trusted website I highly recommend is namecheap.

6) If you want a custom seed then follow 3 simple steps:
1 - Close your server. Delete the world, world_nether and world_the_end folder (or back it up if you want to keep it safe)
2 - Go into server.properties, locate the "level-seed" variable and paste in the seed you want to use there.
3 - Open up the server again and your server will now load that seed into the game. Enjoy!
