MERMAIDING IN THE WINTER - Mermaid performer swims in Lake Michigan during the winter. It isn't easy swimming with icebergs, nor is it a very safe (or smart) thing to do. However, I've always wanted to know what it was like to experience Lake Michigan in the cold months, so I decided to take a polar plunge in a mermaid tail this year. This video will show you my mini-adventures out on the ice (and in the water) and will give you a behind the scenes look at some of the less serious stuff that happened. :3

NOTE: Swimming in the winter can be very dangerous. And, it really isn't all that fun. I wouldn't recommend trying it.

NOTE 2: I'm not wearing much makeup here because this was filmed after work. I would have run out of daylight if I would have tried painting my face before filming!
