The Bitcoin Maximalist Argument...

The Bitcoin Maximalist definition and argument is presented in this video. The term was ironically originally coined by Vitalik Buterin (founder of Ethereum), and the ideology revolves around Bitcoin being superior to all other Altcoins, tokens, fiat, etc. are distractions and scams. They believe that all of the coins and tokens created that are attempting to solve a problem that Bitcoin currently has like Scalability, will be ironed out by BTC in the long-run anyways and render all the altcoins obsolete. Although Bitcoin clearly is the dominant cryptocurrency blockchain-based invention in the world, is a monopoly healthy or should there be more alternatives?
