This is an important case discussing the standard of FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) Section 1681e(b) which requires reasonable procedures for maximum possible accuracy.

Two ways credit bureaus can violate the "accuracy" standard:

1. Factually incorrect
2. Factually correct but it can mislead users of credit reports

Case is very sad and not a good outcome for the consumer but it does explain the rules in the 11th Cir (Alabama, Georgia and Florida).
