A new recording by the one and only glorious Brit Lisa Stansfield to herald the release of the deluxe edition of her 7th album of new material - Seven +. 'There goes my heart' is pure Lisa Stansfield - the funky arrangement; the lush production, the plaintive vocals, that textured and still powerful voice. It does remind me of her early recordings, but it shows that the voice, while deeper these days, is no less compelling and able to soar to wondrous places.

I must have every Lisa Stansfield recording, and that is no mean feat; as the singer in addition to her 7 albums, has contributed to many compilations, soundtracks and as her collected works shows: many b sides, rarities and remixes. It is 25 years since i first heard Lisa's amazing tones, and it was love at first meeting, and a quarter of a century later, i am no less enamored, and thankful for all the great recordings.
