MP 40 (semi auto reproduction, GSG ATI)

GSG ATI MP-40 chambered in 9mm.
This is a reproduction of a German MP-40 Submachine gun.
This is very different from an actual MP-40. The main differences are that this is a closed bolt while the real ones are open bolt, this is semi auto only while real ones are full auto only, and the front sight on this one has a white dot on it while the real ones do not.
The reproductions do not come with a stock, for legal reasons. We plan on getting it SBR'd soon, so we can put a folded stock on it. MP-40's were typically issued with these same stocks. I will definitely come out with a part 2 soon with the folded stock included in it.
The MP-40 was a submachine gun commonly used by the German forces during WW2. It proved to be a very effective weapon. It was used a lot by them! Even German paratroopers used them.
I had a lot of fun shooting this! This felt like a travel back in time.

Am I the only one who thinks the way it's held is super epic?
