An Alternate Method for Softening Edges in Watercolor

Описание к видео An Alternate Method for Softening Edges in Watercolor

Watercolor is great for creating soft edges, but sometimes it's awkward to soften all the edges of a shape before things start to dry, especially when negative painting. Here's an alternate method for softening edges in watercolor you may find helpful in those situations. I'm demonstrating it in the context of suggesting the glow of light around a candle flame, but it's useful for many situations where you want to create the illusion of a glow or glare of light, plus softening other situations where you want to soften an edge with a bit more control and working time.
