Raising Monarchs - When Adults Can't Fly (Help The Monarch Butterfly)

There are times when, even if you've done everything correctly, a Monarch may come out of your rearing process that is unable to fly. Whether this is due to deformities in the wings, or damage it incurs when it has just come out of the chrysalis, if you raise enough Monarchs, you're likely to encounter this situation eventually. What do we do with an adult that can not fly? In this episode, three options are discussed. No option is ideal, as it's not an ideal situation. Still, these three were chosen to explore because each one does have an amount of logic supporting it. If you are raising Monarchs, it's recommended that you decide how you feel about this first, before you encounter it, so that you are ready to handle it.
