To celebrate Labor Day, here are a few isolated music score suites from "Looney Tunes" cartoons focusing on characters at work. First up, it's Frank Perkins' only score for a Warner Bros. cartoon: "Quacker Tracker", which focuses on Daffy Duck trying to take down Speedy Gonzales so he can have a lifetime membership at the hunting society where he works as a janitor.

This cartoon is directed by Rudy Larriva and produced by Format Films, which also produced a series of infamous Road Runner cartoons dubbed by fans as the Larriva Eleven. Though Bill Lava didn't compose the score to this short, he was still involved as the music supervisor.

This is the first of three shorts starring Daffy and Speedy produced by Format Films, with the next two being "The Music Mice-Tro" and "The Spy Swatter", both of which Lava composed the music for. All three shorts were produced as buffers between the final DePatie-Freleng short, "Daffy's Diner", and the first short produced by Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Animation, "Speedy Ghost To Town".
