Taking a deeper look at this shining, bright and structurally tough carbon network, we’ve realised that it is actually impossible for diamonds to be a hundred per cent pure! And funny thing is, the structure that we presumed that diamonds are one of the purest substances is in fact the reason why diamonds can’t be pure, and if they did have to be pure, it would be an infinitely large diamond, one that spans the entire universe!
