Tshwane University of Technology's Department of Performing Arts. The Dance Section has created a truly magical dance production for Dance Season 2018. Enjoy this little teaser video and come watch the full show.

Dance Season 2018 presents - Tshidziki : Ikigai: “The essence of life : Your reason for being”, will take to the stage to showcase our dancers’ essence of life. With works from five professional choreographers and two up-and-coming student choreographers, this season has a little bit of everything. From tap, afro-contemporary and jazz, to classical African and experimental contemporary.

These works from Sunnyboy Motau from Moving Into Dance Mophatong, Pinto Ferreira, Daniel Tshishonga, Megan Rosenberg, Ashley Wakefield, Mxolisi Motaung and Trishanta Raman capture the vibrant spirit of dance and everything which makes it our reason for being.

The curtain will go up on Dance Season 2018 - Tshidziki : Ikigai on May 14 for a preview and official opening night on May 15. The show will run from the opening night on May 14 to May 19 with week day shows starting at 19:00 and a Saturday matinee starting at 15:30.

The Breytenbach Theatre is situated in Gerhard Moerdyk Street, Sunnyside, Pretoria.
