In this video we take you with us on our road trip to South Dakota, from Sioux Falls to Chamberlain. We see waterfalls, whacky random art in a field on the side of the road in Montrose, and we tour a little house on the prairie in De Smet – yes, that little house and that little prairie! We also introduce you to the world’s ONLY corn palace. What on earth is that? You’ll see! And there are some gorgeous sculptures along the way, created by no other than South Dakota’s artist laureate; he is brilliant! We avoid poisonous snakes as we walk the grounds of a giant sculpture high on a hill above the Missouri River in Chamberlain and learn a bit of Native American culture. We throw in some stunning sunsets, sunrises and a taste of local beer - it would be rude not to!
You’re in good company, too. We are Mandy from England, Orlando from New York and our Great Pyrennees dog travels in the back seat and sometimes even narrates!
Our goal is to show you the beautiful United States and also far away exotic places. Our intention in launching this travel channel is to inspire you to see the world, learn a bit, laugh a bit and be in awe of all we discover together.
