OMGGG I have so many feelings I can't even start lol. Okay, so I know this is the MOST overused song ever, and that there are 800 BL videos to it, but this is my version. Ever since I first heard it I knew I had to download OTH and vid it for one of my dearest OTPs. "The last time I'm asking you why"... Brucas feels are the worst feels for me, and I'll rant about them now, so you can stay with me if you'd like. If not, you can just jump everything lol.

-- LONG RANT ABOUT BRUCAS --

So, when I started watching OTH it was already on it's 5th season and I was new to Youtube, but there were these videos popping around with The Comet quote and I hadn't watched the show yet but I shipped Leyton SO HARD because of the quote and the videos. So I decided to download everything so I could catch up on their love story and I was so sure I was going to ship them sooo hard. And I DID. Well, not for long, since I think I watched the five seasons in less than two weeks lol. But, yep, in the first season I was such a hardcore Leyton shipper (mostly because I was in love with Peyton's hair) and I knew they were going to be endgame so I allowed myself to sit back and relax.

Silly me. Of course the universe would not allow me to have an endgame. So the second season started. And Brooke and Lucas were friends again. I caught myself giggling in all their scenes. Sophia and Chad were in the high peak of their chemistry. And then JEYTON HAPPENED and stole my heart completely. I was still a Leyton fan, but Jeyton was my new OTP of the show. I was like, "c'mon Viktoria, shipping the doom AGAIN--" and Nathan suffered an accident and Brooke and Lucas hugged and she said IT'S OKAY I AM HERE FOR YOU and I was like "This is nooot happening to me, I can't be cheering for the doomed ship AGAIN--" and then there was that brilliant season two finale (OTH is brilliant,but this episode is the best ever, plus Jimmy Eat World) and I just COULD NOT. I was completely sold. Brucas started to be one of my favorite ships ever.

And throughout the rest of the show I could not believe they were not going to be endgame. I knew Soph and Chad got divorced and I honestly think it reflected on the storyline. Everything about their breakup felt so contrieved. I mean how do you go from SHE'S THE ONE, MAKE THE SHOT, WHO'S STANDING NEXT TO YOU? BROOKE, to what happened?? She accused him of never letting her in but it was just a contrieved reason for LP to happen because he did let her in, he loved her so muuuch, more than everything, and she did as well.. UGH I will be forever bitter.

Don't get me wrong. I actually LOVE Leyton inspite of everything. But in my humble opinion Leyton is Peyton's happy ending (also contrieved imo because JAKE), not Lucas's... BL was both Lucas' and Brooke's happy ending, fairytale ending. But it is what it is. Brucas feels are always the worst for me, so personal, because I had a very similar love story (minus the triangle, with other complications) with my boyfriend and for once real life had a better outcome haha.

On to the video. You guys don't know how long it took me to finish it. One, because I couldn't stop crying. Haha two because I don't know the scenes very well so it's hard to parallel and everything. Still, I am happy with the outcome. I am sorry about the overused song though (two years late to the bandwagon lol), but I couldn't not vid it for them.
