🧩 What Is 17’ Five Nights at Sonic: Redacted?

This game is inspired by both the Five Nights at Sonic’s saga and the FNaF Rewritten series. It acts as a sequel to FNaS Redacted while also serving as a remake/reimagining of Five Nights at Sonic’s 2.

The goal of the game is to rewrite the original story, making it more coherent while introducing new gameplay mechanics that still stay faithful to the classic FNaS/FNaF formula.

📖 The Story

Two years after the 2015 Sonic’s Hero Chili Restaurant incident, the location was shut down after a corpse was discovered in the restaurant’s garbage.

Now, a brand new location is preparing to open in a different place. This time, instead of clones, the restaurant will feature robotic performers as the main attraction.

However… something wasn’t left behind.

The old clones from the 2015 location have secretly been brought back.

Despite everything that happened, Miles “Tails” Prower can’t bring himself to destroy them. Instead, he decides to give them one last chance to regain his trust and prove they’re safe.

But Tails still fears that another incident might happen, so someone needs to watch the restaurant during the night.

Since he’s busy preparing the restaurant, Amy Rose volunteers to guard the place overnight.

Unfortunately, neither Amy nor Tails realize that someone followed the clones when they were moved…

And that person has something very sinister planned.

The gameplay is mainly inspired by the mechanics of FNaS 2 / FNaF 2, but this fangame introduces new twists and mechanics.
