Can Steam Sale inform how you play the Binding of Isaac? Absolutely.

The Shop is a run-defining feature of Repentance. If you've leveled the shop as high as it can go, then a solid 80% of your shops / should / contain a couple of safe pedestal items, and additional chances for soul hearts, pickups, cards - a variety of incredible items to smooth out your run. Sure, sometimes Greed's waiting for us, and sure, sometimes the Shop can be poopy. But it's almost always worth a look.

Especially if, like me, you start an Eden run with Steam Sale.
