450MT and KLR650 Take on the Murray

6 Day Adventure Ride - Part 2
Welcome to part 2 of a 3 part series where my Uncle and I take our bikes on a 6 day adventure around Victoria.
I am riding my CFMOTO 450MT, and my Uncle is on his Kawasaki KLR650.
Day 3
In the morning, we decided to get on the black top to make it up to Swan Hill by lunchtime. So we put our heads down, and got the miles out of the way. After some lunch, we headed to Lake Boga to see the Flying Boat Museum, which we were both pretty impressed by. We were also impressed by a 1st gen KLR which was parked out the front. Fortunately, as we had got into Swan Hill early, this allowed us all afternoon to explore a couple of tracks along the Murray River. This would give us an idea on what tracks we would be riding tomorrow, as we would exclusively be riding alongside the Murray.
Day 4
Left Swan Hill, and headed east, not before crossing into New South Wales, and searched for the nearest track following the contour of the Murray. Once on the tracks, we found a little offroad playground, where we spent some time playing around and honing our riding. We then again hit the tracks and continued down the Murray. When we came across what looked like a small lake, I decided I would go check the depth. Once deciding it wouldn't be fun to haul one of our bikes out if we got stuck, we turned around, not before I managed to do what I set out to avoid and bogged the bike in some deceptively soft, and deep mud. After dropping off our luggage, we spent the afternoon riding on some more tracks along the Murray.
