Today we have a 2015 Dodge Charger with a 3.6 engine. The customer came in requesting a transmission fluid service due to a shuddering concern. When we drove the car, it felt more like a misfire. There were no codes stored and no lights on the dash, but live data showed a cylinder 1 misfire. Luckily, bank 1 is easy to get to so we simply swapped the coils and plugs around on bank one to see if the misfire changed cylinders. In our case, the cylinder switched to the one that we swapped the coil to, indicating a faulty ignition coil. We swapped everything back and installed a new coil and the "transmission shudder" was gone.
